what are the hydroformed downtube and the spy clamp actually there for?

Vein Answer:  The hydroformed down tube creates a gusset and makes the frame stronger.  The spy clamp is just another style of seat post clamp that makes the frame look clean.

Does the red one still have odyssey parts stock, or does the blue one?

Vein Answer:  All the bikes with Odyssey parts are gone.  The new bikes have equal quality parts.

Does the black and red one come with the odyssey tires and odyssey twisted pc pedals?

Vein Answer:  The black now come with Alienation tires and Amber pedals.  We still have stock of Blue with Odyssey parts.

Would this frame be ok for my height? I'm 6 foot tall and want to make sure this frame is right for me. Also, would I be able to request the tan walls with black rims for the black frame? Thanks

Vein Answer:  Yeah it should fit you fine.  I actually ride a frame a little shorter than that and I am 5'11".  Sorry the tires and rims that are pictured is the only way it comes.

does it come with a extra male axle...also are the pegs EZRA's?

Vein Answer:  Sorry no extra axle and the pegs are Amber Forged.

I bought this complete as a second bike to use for street and to beat up on. Being a $350 complete on sale i wasnt expecting greatness but after a solid session and no broken parts its def a great buy. My only issue is that the hub skips a lot for me, Everything else feels prety solid and its lighter than my $1400 custom.

Vein Answer:  Thanks.  Take your driver out and see if it has lube on the pawls.  Some dirt might have gotten in there.

First does the back support pegs cause the photo shows some different bolt and could I replace the headset?

Vein Answer:  Yes you can run pegs on the back just don't be a bruiser with the female axle.  Sorry the bikes are already assembled so we can't switch headsets out.

would you recomend this bike for a beginner that it lerning tricks? also how long would it take to ship?


Vein Answer:  Yes it would be a great bike.  It would take about 5-6 business days to get to you.

I see EZRA on the back hub, would it so happen to be the same as the opus hub? Also how come you couldnt use the top load stem if its the same? plz get back to me. I LOVE VEIN BMX!!

Vein Answer:  You can use a top load stem but the bikes come with a front load.  Yes it is the same hub as the OPUS.

if i ride this bike breakless and pegless how much will it weiigh?

Vein Answer:  I wouldn't suggest it but you are probably going to take off 2-3 pounds.

do the stickers come on it or in the box, and can i get the bars in a different color?

Vein Answer: Sorry can't change the bars.  Stickers are already on the bike as well.

can you get a topload instead of a front load stem?

Vein Answer:  Sorry we can't do that.

Does it come with gyro tabs?

Vein Answer:  Sorry but no.  

What are the differences between the Savior and Reik?

Vein Answer:  The Savior has top load stem, tires are more for dirt and 74.5 head tube angle.  The Resik has front load stem, 75mm head tube and more street style tires.  Both bikes will take whatever riding that you want to do though.

which bike is better for street/park riding? which is better for grinding, what are the ups and downs of both bikes?

VeinBMX.com Answer:  both of these bikes will grind well.  However, there really is no comparison spec wise.  The Resik is full chromoly, vs. just the front triangle on the Fit.  The Resik has double wall rims front and rear, vs. single wall front/double wall rear on the Fit.  The Resik has a cnc'd stem and 48 spline 3pc cranks, vs. a forged stem and OEM pinch bolt cranks on the Fit.  The Resik also has an alloy sprocket, vs. a stamped steel sprocket on the Fit.  

i ride pegs will this axel handle it?

Whats the headtube angle?

It says female for the rear hub, but not for the front. I guess my question is, are they both female or just the rear?

is shipping to canada free? and how long does it take

VEIN BMX Answer:  Sorry shipping is not free to Canada.  The shipping time will depend on what part of Canada you live in.  Orders usually ship the same day so it will just be a matter of time in transit with USPS.

Will the brake pads rub away the rims paint?

VEIN BMX Answer:  We annodize our rims instead of painting.  Annodizing the rims works better than painting for braking and retains its color better.  Although after some time with any annodized rim the color will start to fade.

IS the seat pivotal because it says so but on the picture its not...

Sorry it comes with the fat seat and post combo.  Getting the specs changed on the site now.
